What it does

The same idea can open four very different ways, and which one you pick decides whether anyone reads the rest. Hook writer writes all four so you can compare them side by side.

Each hook is scored out of 100 on the things that decide whether someone stops scrolling, and you see why it got that score.

How it works

  1. Tell us what your post is about, in a sentence or two.
  2. We write the opening line four ways: a contrarian take, a specific number, a moment from a story, and a question your reader is already asking.
  3. Each one is scored: does it show in full on a phone before "…see more", how short is the first line, is it specific, does it speak to the reader, and does it open with filler.
  4. Post the strongest one, or fix the one you like best using the reasons.

Getting the most from it

  • Describe the idea with the real detail in it: the number, the client, the moment. Specific input gives specific hooks.
  • Run the finished post through the post formatter to check the hook lands above the "…see more" cut-off.
