What it does
Readers decide whether to keep going on the first line. Most drafts open with a warm-up, and the strongest line usually sits halfway down.
Hook finder reads your draft line by line, finds that line and moves it to the top. The rest of your words stay as you wrote them.
How it works
- Paste a LinkedIn post you have drafted.
- Every line is scored as an opener: is it specific, does it open a question the reader wants answered, does it speak to them, and can it be read at a glance.
- The strongest line moves to the top, and you get a tighter version of the hook that keeps your claim.
- You also see every line ranked, with the reason, so you can pick a different one.
Getting the most from it
- Write the draft first, then run it. The tool works best on a full post, not a fragment.
- If the top-ranked line is weak, the post may need a sharper claim, not a better opener. The hook writer can help there.
